The 300 Glacier has been priced at $37,840 (including destination), and the automaker has released new photos of the full-size four-door. The modified 300 adds unique exterior styling and Chrysler’s all-wheel-drive system to make it appropriate for a trip to the slopes or a night on the town. Based on the 300S, the Glacier is distinguished by gloss black mirrors, black chrome accents and unique 19-inch aluminum wheels. Customers can also order a gloss black roof and an exclusive Glacier Blue Pearl exterior. The 300 Glacier comes with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with new sport-tuned exhaust and cold-air induction system delivering 300 horsepower. Hooked up to an eight-speed automatic transmission and of course that AWD system, it returns 18 mpg city / 27 mpg highway. You can also have it with the 363 horsepower HEMI V8. Inside, the Glacier has a 12-way power driver’s seat in black. Piano black trim accents the center stack, instrument panel, steering wheel and gauge cluster. The new model that pays tribute to "the Motor City’s resurgence and determination through Detroit-born style and world-class ingenuity." Available exterior colors include Bright White, Gloss Black, Deep Cherry Red and new Jazz Blue. The Chrysler 300 Mowown, include bright chrome front and rear fascia accents, mirror caps, door handles and daylight-opening surround, and a unique Mopar bright chrome grille with seven sculpted horizontal blades as well as 20-inch polished “heritage” design aluminum wheels. The interior boasts complete Pearl White Nappa leather upholstery. There is also Black Olive Ash wood trim, Piano Black accents and an 8.4” Uconnect infotainment system which is preloaded with a 100 songs from Motown recording artists. Power is provided by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that develops 292 bhp (218 kW) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which enables the model to return up to 31 mpg highway (US). The 200 Convertible will sell with a choice of four-cylinder or V6 engines, both with a six-speed automatic (a dual-clutch six-speed will be available on the four-cylinder with late introduction), and with a choice of single-button-activated cloth or hard tops. Differentiating the 200 from the Sebring is a retuned suspension, a new V6, the six-speed/four-cylinder combination, a new interior, and dramatically different styling. Virtually every part of the suspension has been retuned or redesigned for 2011, including 22 of 28 suspension bushings. The suspension geometry was completely re-engineered. The track is an inch wider, tire width has been increased from 215 to 225 mm and the Chrysler 200 has been lowered 12 mm in the front and 6 mm in the rear for a lower, wider, more substantial stance.
