Mercedes has unveiled the C-Class DTM Coupe at the Frankfurt Motor Show on Tuesday September 13. This car is interesting for two reasons: 1) It's painted in the liquid-silver Mercedes/McLaren F1 color. 2) DTM is coming to America in 2013.

The motorsport beast will be introduced to the public by Formula One drivers Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg, but it seems that we have received something that should quench our thirst meanwhile.

Based on the new C-Class Coupe, the car will continue to be an excellent branding exercise for Mercedes-Benz, while sharing nothing but its roof with the production car.
