Alpina’s B6 Bi-Turbo Cabrio will make debut later on September 13th at Frankfurt Auto Show.<br /><br /><span class="fullpost"><br /><br />The exterior package includes modified front bumper, perhaps a bit different rear one and some badging. The interior also receives plenty of luxurious, bespoke upgrades.<br /><br /><br /><br />Visually, the car receives the usual ALPINA treatment with a new front apron, which has carbon flaps and a carbon lip at the bottom.<br /><br /><br /><br />Powered with the modified 4.4-L twin-turbocharged V8 engine capable of producing 507HP with 700Nm (516.3 lb-ft) of peak torque delivered between 3,000 and 4,750 rpm.<br /><br /><br /><br />Therefore, the revised model is able to develop extra 100 horses and 100 Nm of torque. Honda says the rear spoiler has also been reduced in size, improving rear visibility.<br /><br /><span class="fullpost"><br /><br />The Insight also gets slightly better mileage and produces less carbon dioxide thanks to a few other adjustments. The engine is revised for less internal friction, and the air conditioning is also updated to help reduce the 2012 Honda Insight’s carbon footprint.<br /><br /><br /><br />Fuel economy and emissions have also been improved by means of enhanced aerodynamics and powertrain efficiency.
