Toure rose to notoriety during his tenure at Arsenal, displacing <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Keown" target="_blank">Martin Keown</a> at the heart of the Arsenal defence to form a formidable partnership alongside <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sol_Campbell" target="_blank">Sol Campbell</a>.
